The Union of Northern American Vietnamese Student Associations (uNAVSA)has chosen to support the Catalyst Foundation during the 2006-2007 academic year through the highly successful Collective Philanthropy Project (CPP). Hundreds of Vietnamese American youth will be working together to raise awareness about human trafficking and raising money to build a playground, construct new homes, build a new library, and provide food for children and their families living in a garbage dump in Kien Giang Province. The project will come to an end when a group of dedicated volunteers will travel to Vietnam August 11-18th to meet these deserving children, deliver supplies, and start the construction of the library.
